FAQs

1. How do I take care of my tattoo and/or piercing?

Each person’s skin and immune system is different. So, we will discuss aftercare on an individual basis. That being said, most people respond quite well to tattoos and piercings. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

2. Is there anybody you will not tattoo or pierce?

Yes!  We are staffed with professional, friendly and open-minded individuals, so we treat each client equally as well, regardless of sex, race, religion, sexual orientation or hat size. However, we will not work with anybody who is drunk or otherwise under the influence, and while we respect every person’s right to their opinion, we simply will not welcome anybody into our studio that is in any way being hateful toward our staff or other clients. We do have the right to refuse service to anybody.

2. Continued

Each of our artists – while they all are well-versed in all styles – have areas of expertise. We suggest you simply call or stop by the studio to discuss initial design ideas so we can direct you as to which artist would be the best fit.  The bottom line is: If you want it tattooed, we’ll tattoo it (within reason, of course).

3. Do you tattoo minors?

There are conditions that are simply non-negotiable. They are: You must be at least 16 years of age to get a tattoo.  If you are under 18, you and your legal guardian MUST physically come to the shop, pick up a Parental Consent Form for Tattooing. To do so you will need: Parent/Guardian State Issued ID (Driver’s License, DMV ID Card), Minor State Issued ID (Driver’s License, DMV ID Card). In the event of no state issued ID we MUST have BOTH a birth certificate and photo ID. In addition, the legal guardian MUST be present at the time of the tattoo. There are absolutely no exceptions to these procedures. Each artist reserves the right to refuse said services to anybody, so if you are a minor and come to our studio wanting someone’s name tattooed across your neck, be assured that we’ll politely decline.

4. Can I download, or will you e-mail, the Parental Consent Form for Tattooing or Piercing?

Sorry, but no. You must physically come to the studio to fetch the form.

5. Are tattoos and piercings safe?

No, neither is safe unless you go to a studio that not only strives – but achieves – excellence in sterilization procedures.  We are obsessive about cleanliness, and we proudly pass each Health Department inspection with flying colors, and exceed many of their requirements. We use only the best, regularly-certified sterilization and cleansing equipment, and all tubes and needles are opened in front of each client so you know what is being used on you is 100% sterile. We encourage you to ask questions regarding our sterilization process, and our up-to-date records are always available for your review.

6. What form of payment do you accept?

CASH ONLY! We do not accept checks, trades or chickens.
